Joe Joyce has vowed to leave Daniel Dubois a ‘broken boy’ after they fight for the British, Commonwealth, and vacant European heavyweight titles at London’s O2 Arena on April 11.
A pre-fight press conference ended with Dubois pushing his rival after Joyce’s mum Marvel had provoked her son’s opponent over his lack of heart and then insulting the woman who is registered blind.
In the aftermath, 34-year-old Rio 2016 silver medalist Joyce – who has a 10-0 professional record – was forthright in his views on 22-year-old Dubois.

Joyce said: ‘Daniel is talking about me only beating kids and downplaying my achievements, he’s insulted my Mum and her blindness that’s up to him no problem.
‘I just hope he’s got good people around him when I beat him, because he’s going to be a broken boy on April 11th.’
Dubois is also protecting an unbeaten record with 14 wins from his 14 professional contests so far.
Promoter Frank Warren had to step between the pair as Dubois started pushing Joyce
