Jake Paul has beaten KSI to the top of the pile after the first official influencer boxing standings were released. The Professional Boxing Association confirmed the list, illustrating the impact the American and Co have had on the sport.
Following Paul and KSI at the top of the rankings, AnEsonGib ranks third, while his future opponent Austin McBroom came in at fourth. WWE’s newest acquisition Logan Paul places fifth, with Faze Temper in sixth and rival Blueface in seventh.
There has been a significant rise in influencers or social media stars taking an interest in the combat sport in recent years. It began with British YouTubers KSI and Joe Weller squaring off in 2018, which the 29-year-old won in the third round by way of technical knockout.

The trend then escalated further with Paul's brother Logan taking on KSI in a professional bout before Jake was handed an opportunity on the undercard of boxing legend Mike Tyson's exhibition. The elder Paul brother was then given a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to face Floyd Mayweather Jr last June.
Paul went the full distance with the boxing legend with no winner being announced. Mayweather's superior boxing was reflected by the CompuBox punch stats, with Mayweather having landed 43 punches of 107 thrown (40.2%), compared to Paul's 28 landed of 217 thrown (12.9%).
Jake meanwhile has contested five boxing matches in his burgeoning career, winning four of them via knockout. He will soon be back in action when he will take on an opponent with a natural background in boxing in the shape of Hasim Rahman Jr.
The pair will fight it out on August 6 at the iconic Madison Square Garden and a win for the 25-year-old could set up a rekindled rivalry with British star Tommy Fury after their bout was put on hold for a second time. His next opponent, Rahman Jr, has claimed some 'shady' moves were made by his opponent's team to get the fight finalised.

“It was a little shady,” Rahman Jr toldThe MMA Hour . “His coach called me, and he’s asking me how much I weigh, how I’m feeling about my last fight, what I’ve been doing in the gym, how much I’ve been sparring.
“But he was asking me under the pretence that I would come in and spar Jake as a southpaw for the Anderson Silva [fight]. I’m thinking they’re about to call me back and get me on a flight to Puerto Rico to help them out for Anderson.
“An hour later, I get a call saying they want to fight. So, all those questions were really trying to line me up to fight me. It was never a sparring situation.”
Rahman Jr was a replacement for Tommy Fury, who was unable to enter the United States due to visa issues.
