Ebanie Bridges has lashed out at her 'obsessed' upcoming opponent Shannon O'Connell after her Aussie rival promised to "punch holes through her" in their huge domestic showdown.
Bridges has been ordered to defend her IBF bantamweight title against her bitter rival later this year – with the pair clashing on numerous occasions in the past.
After being sent side-by-side images of herself and veteran O'Connell, Bridges wrote on Twitter: "God not sure if I should be insulted or not."

Adding: "Tbf she really is obsessed with me lately, she even went and got implants and a leg sleeve… maybe in her head so much subconsciously she trying to be like me."

With O'Connell promising to 'punch holes' through her 'scared' foe, Bridges has also taken to Instagram to alter the nickname of her foe from Shotgun to Sh*tgun.
O'Connell, who has also been dubbed as The Queen of Australian Boxing, has won 23 of her 30 professional fights, including eight bouts in a row since 2017.
She said: "Ebanie Bridges pretends she doesn’t know me because she’s scared of me. I will punch holes through that girl."
Bridges looked set to take on a voluntary title defence rather than the mandatory O'Connell, but will now face the experienced former WBF featherweight champion.
O'Connell has told Aus Boxing of the bout: "I am really excited that the fight is actually happening. I was a bit worried that if the fight was here, in Australia, that she was going to pull out."
She added: "It's quite clear that we don't like each other so I only want to fight her."
