Derek Chisora tells Kubrat Pulev "I’m getting my hard on for you" in X-rated row

Derek Chisora has come out with his latest bizarre comment ahead of his rematch with Kubrat Pulev.

The ever-unpredictable Chisora will be looking for revenge when he steps into the ring with Pulev on Saturday, July 9. He lost to the Bulgarian on a split decision after their first meeting in 2016.

In a sit down face-off chaired by promoter Eddie Hearn, Del Boy claimed the wrong man was named as the winner six years ago, and announced his intention for a KO win this time. He then criticised Pulev for taking his last fight against Jerry Forrest, which was a walk in the park for him.

It was at that point when things took a strange turn, as Chisora argued: "Basically, it’s like this yeah. You’ve got Miss Universe there and you’ve got some Timbuktu chick somewhere, fat, smelly.

“Which one would you go for? Which one would you rather wake up for and get a hard on for?

“I’m getting my hard on for you, that’s what I’m trying to explain to you. So, you have to understand, I am going to come ferocious and vicious, mate.”

The unique analogy prompted Matchroom Boxing to tweet out the clip with the caption 'WTF', which was a fitting description to say the least.

Chisora was attempting to explain that he would much rather take on a challenge, otherwise he'd struggle to find motivation. His approach has seen him lose his last three outings, though.

Pulev, meanwhile, has fought just once since losing to Anthony Joshua in December 2020 with his unanimous decision victory over Forrest coming in May. There's not a clear favourite heading into the contest with both in the twilight years of their careers.
