Since making their boxing debuts in 2018, Jake and Logan Paul have proved to be hugely controversial figures within the sport.
Many have claimed the pair of social media megastars are disrespecting the sport of boxing, with current world champion Canelo Alvarez arguing the brothers are only focussed on money.
Others have suggested that the emergence of the Paul brothers has raised the profile of the sport and introduced a new generation of fans to the sweet science.
Boxing icon Oscar De La Hoya is in the latter camp, recently suggesting that the Problem Child and the Maverick are preventing the boxing “fanbase diminishing”.
"I think Jake and Logan Paul are great for boxing overall, De La Hoya told ABC 7.
“In boxing, we are always questioning why is it going down or why are the ratings so low, or why are there not more world title fights and why is it the fanbase diminishing.”
"It's not really on the face of it, but when you have stars like Jake and Logan Paul bringing a whole new fanbase to boxing, I embrace it one thousand percent.

“Now kids are coming up to me in the street because of them, now they know who Oscar De La Hoya is and Manny Pacquiao is as these YouTubers are bringing kids into the sport through their platform and through social media.
“So, I embrace it always definitely yes."
De La Hoya's comments come a few years after he blasted Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor for their 2017 boxing match.
While the crossover fight likely also brought more fans over to the sport of boxing, the Golden Boy claimed the bout was a "circus" and a "farce", apparently unlike the recent YouTuber boxing matches.
Tonight, the younger of the Paul siblings, Jake, is set to return to the boxing ring against former UFC champion Tyron Woodley in an eight-round professional boxing match.
The bout will take place at the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland, Ohio, and will be Paul’s fourth professional fight.
Former UFC champion Woodley will be making his debut in the boxing ring, with the bout coming just a few months after his release from the UFC following four consecutive losses in the promotion.
Standout fights on the undercard include Amanda Serrano vs Yamileth Mercado, Tommy Fury vs Anthony Taylor, and Daniel Dubois vs Joe Cusumano.
