Conor McGregor flaunts sapphire-studded Rolex added to UFC star’s £3m collection

UFC icon Conor McGregor added a lavish new sapphire-encrusted Rolex to his collection – which is valued at an eye-watering £3million.

The Irish star took to social media to show off his new addition with a flashy video. With another luxury watch on his left wrist, McGregor shows himself picking up an incredible sapphire-encrusted Rolex which genuinely looks as expensive as it is.

The cheeky 33-year-old described the Rolex as a ‘tasty timepiece’ before he can be heard asking a friend what ‘the stones’ emblazoned across his watch are called, referring to the sapphires. He was evidently pleased to learn of the precious blue gemstones.

McGregor was also keen to showcase his Chopard, worth £500,000, as he flashed it several time to the camera. He showed off the new watches along with a brand new Bentley and a fully customised suit in a video on Instagram captioned: “New watch new suit new whip alert.”

McGregor, who has not fought in UFC since breaking his leg in the first round of his trilogy defeat to Dustin Poirier in July 2021, spent £2.2 million on a pair of watches last year. The Dublin-born star added Jacob & Co’s Astronomia Tourbillon Baguette recently, which is valued at £730,000.

He also bought another timepiece from Jacob & Co which is encrusted with diamonds to earn the name ‘the Rasputin’. It has a naughty twist to it, too: with the touch of a button, a hidden sex scene emerges from behind a shimmering door.

Jacob & Co told The Sun the Irishman paid £1.5 million for the remarkable piece. These two new watches along with the Chopard and the sapphire-encrusted watch add to his stunning £674,000 collection.

Estimates regarding the total value of his collection are over £3million.

News of McGregor’s expensive new additions come after the Irish star enjoyed a lavish day out at the Monaco Grand Prix in May. He flaunted his £2.4 million Lamborghini super yacht on the holiday, docking the new boat in the principality’s iconic harbour.

During the Monaco Grand Prix, mooring rates can reportedly surge to over $100,000 for a five-day stay in a prime location within the port. McGregor was clearly unaffected by the cost, taking to Instagram to show off his boat with the caption: “Pulling into Monaco for the F1 Grand Prix! A dream come true for me.”

McGregor eclectically dressed for the event, donning a floral Versace shirt as he hung out with stars around the paddock. The 33-year-old was seen enjoying the company of fellow Irish millionaire Eddie Jordan, as well as Haas F1 driver Mick Schumacher.
