Trailing 3-2 in the series, Boston will need a huge performance from All-Star forward Jayson Tatum, who has had an up-and-down series but was brilliant in the game-five loss in California.

“It’s not over with,” Tatum said.

“I think having done it before should give you even more confidence that you can.

“Not that it’s going to be easy or it’s going to be given to us, but you should be extremely confident as long as you got a chance. We got a chance tomorrow.”

Game 6 Klay

There are many questions heading into Game 6.

The biggest is will the mythical “Game 6 Klay” show up. Thompson, who has a history over averaging more than 20 points at around 50% from three-point land in game six matches, is keen for that trend to continue.

“It’s obviously a nickname I earned and I want to live up to it,” the Warriors guard told reporters on Wednesday.

“At the same time, I don’t want to go in there and play hero ball. I’m just going to be in there and be myself, do what I’ve been doing the last few games. I know that will allow us to be successful.”

Welcome to Game 6

Yes, hello and welcome to live coverage of game six of the NBA Finals.

The Warriors are one win away from their fourth championship of their golden (state) era which started in 2014-15 while the Celtics are back home in Boston looking to extend the series to a deciding game seven in San Francisco on 10am (AEST) on Monday, if required.
