Logan Paul ‘fighting WWE world champion Roman Reigns’ in Saudi Arabia mega match

Logan Paul is reportedly set to face Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns in the main event of Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia.

Paul and Reigns look to be on a collision course which was kickstarted when the latter appeared on the former's Impaulsive podcast earlier this week. After The Tribal Chief had left the show, YouTuber Paul challenged him to a match.

He then appeared on Smackdown last night (September 16) to further build a feud between the pair, meeting in the ring with the returning Paul Heyman and the rest of Reigns' faction, The Bloodline.

Paul revealed he had set up a press conference set to take place later today in Las Vegas and invited Reigns to meet face-to-face with him. According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, it's expected to be announced they will headline Crown Jewel on November 5.

Paul vs Reigns will be a shock main event for the next Saudi Arabia pay-per-view, with the social media star only having made his WWE debut at Wrestlemania 38 in April, albeit putting in a hugely impressive performance which earned him respect from the wrestling community.

He signed a contract with the company in June and then appeared at their second largest show of the year, Summerslam, in August, once again showing off his stunning athleticism in a victory over The Miz.

Paul had been absent from WWE TV since then until drawing the ire of Reigns, who tweeted after his podcast appearance: "I bless the world and bring the Island of Relevancy to your show.

"You and your boys acknowledge me and as soon as I’m gone you run your mouth?!. Wiseman, handle him. @HeymanHustle."

Heyman replied: "I am in receipt of your command, and I shall indeed bestow upon Logan Paul the wisdom he so desperately lacks. My Tribal Chief, please consider this HANDLED!"

Paul simply responded: "Exactly how do you plan on handling me?"

It was then WWE chief Triple H invited Paul to Smackdown. Reigns has been WWE Universal Champion for over two years, unifying the belt with the WWE Championship by beating Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania earlier this year.
